The Theaterrevier is the theater venue of the Junges Schauspielhaus Bochum starting from the 2020/2021 season. This venue opened its doors on September 27, 2020. Located not far from the center of Bochum, this theater space was conceived as a place for children and teenagers. The Drama Control, a council of 15 children and young adults aged 5 to 21, decides on the concept and program in collaboration with the Theaterrevier team.
The Theaterrevier is a space where creative and artistic freedom can exist and flourish. Members of the Drama Control can suggest themes and projects, meet the artists we collaborate with, and contribute to the development of the program, artistic processes, and communication.
